Crimson Desert Review
Pros
Good value for money
Story revolves around fighting evil/corruption
No micro transactions
Multiple types of gameplay elements, including farming, fishing, and even raising livestock
Cons
Foul Language - very liberal use of cuss words can be heard by every character and some alot more than others, even running into another character by accident can cause them to cuss you out.
Things to consider
Magic is used
Good and bad witches. Witches use magic to help people in the world, almost take on a Gandalf-like role in the game, but there is an evil one.
Fantasy Magic exists.
The player can imbue their weapons with magic to make them stronger and also gain abilities.
Multiple religions in the game are influenced by real world cultures.
One of the playable characters can be put in a short skirt outfit
Conclusion
Crimson Desert is a great single player offline game that will be able to offer hours of fun for a great price. However, the excessive use of foul language means this should not be played by anybody younger than 18. The game is constantly being updated with new content and fixes with potentially an online mode in the future (as of writing this review).
